Chinese Association for Science and Technology in California South Inc. (hereafter "CAST-CS") is a non-profit, non-partisan and professional organization chartered in the Commonwealth of
California
South in October 2020. All activities of CAST-CS shall abide by the laws and regulations set forth by the Commonwealth of California and the United States of America. This corporation is organized as a nonprofit organization under
the
Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public purposes. It is not organized for the private gain of any person. Such purposes for which this corporation is formed are exclusively charitable and educational within the meaning
of
Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
As a regional chapter of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA (hereafter "CAST-USA"), CAST-CS shall adhere to the Bylaws of CAST-USA while retaining its own independence.
Mission: Our mission is to establish a platform for its members to connect with one another and exchange knowledge and skills, to assist the members in career development and advancement in California South and throughout the United States, and to promote the traditional Chinese culture and integrate the members into the local community.
NCCBA is hosting the Mayor of Nanjing Qixia District-Mr. Zhengjun Xing and his accompany delegation from China to talk about “Doing Business in China” from a government point of view. Mr. Xing will use his Mayor’s role to discuss the government policies, focused areas and special policies within his power to promote business development, and recruitment of talents from US. It is worth to mention that Mr. Xing studied at Duke and attended many NCCBA events during his stay.
“Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and Funds Matching” is an important event in the annual meeting of China Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology. At present, technological innovation leads the development of society, technological change drives the economy forward, and innovation and entrepreneurship activities are in full swing. As the largest Chinese comprehensive science and technology society in North America, China Travel Science and Technology Association has gathered a large number of outstanding Chinese technology elites, who have made indelible contributions in the world’s scientific and technological exploration and technological development. In the past few sessions, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of the annual meeting of the Association of American Associations for Science and Technology has achieved good results in terms of technological innovation and project funding docking.
